This is the perfect time of year for hunting boar and ram. Whether you’re more interested in a trophy hunt or the meat, we have guided hunts that will be perfect for you and your party.
We offer three types of boar hunts. For someone interested in meat, there’s a hog hunt that will cost you about $600. The boars you’ll find on this hunt will be up to 150 pounds. Not only will you have a fun and successful hunt, Tioga Boar Hunting can now take care of all of your vacuum sealing, grinding and smoking needs with our new full scale butchering options. Let us take care of the clean up while you rest after your successful hunt.
The second type of boar hunt is a trophy hunt which will be about $750 and focuses on a boar from 151-250 pounds, or a trophy male with large tusks. While you’ll still enjoy meat from this hunt, the focus is more on the trophy aspect.
The third boar hunt we offer is for an extra-large trophy boar, and some of our most successful hunts have brought in boars weighing 300 pounds or more. While this hunt is a little pricier at $900, if you really want to land an awesome trophy, this is the hunt for you.
When it comes to rams, there are two different kinds of hunts: Texas Dallas Rams and Corsican Rams are two different beasts, and require slightly different techniques.
Corsican Rams are brown, reddish or tan with black manes, and can weigh up to 125 pounds. They’re tricky to hunt, but our guides will put you in a position for success.
Texas Dallas Rams is one of the most hunted exotics in the U.S. Also known as Dall Rams, these creatures are white and gold, and can weigh up to 125 pounds.
Most of our Corsican Rams and Dall Ram hunts are one or two days in length, and our lodging package is available for $100 per person, which includes all meals. Depending on the size of the Corsican Ram you’re looking for, this hunt will run between $750 and $1,500.
