Thanks so much for everything! Our hunt was more than we could ever had asked for! Chad had a great time. Our guide, Dustin, was amazing, he was professional and knowledgable and went out of his way to help Chad get exactly what he wanted. This was definetly a homerun on the wedding gift scale! Thanks again!

I want to thank our guides, they did a great job and are really fun to be around. They help me a lot. I have a bad leg and messed up me knee right before we went there.  But they got me where I could get a big ugly one. Loved it and if able will be back again. I also will tell my friends about the trip.

Mark,

Just to let you know Jarrod, Kenny, Al and I had a great time at Tioga Ranch.  You and the rest of the staff make the entire experience memorable.  The guides were knowledgeable and a lot of fun.  The meals were outstanding !  Already prepared some good meals and look forward to many more.  I also look forward to our mounts and reviewing the pictures we took.  I am waiting to see if any of our hunt gets posted on your web site.

I will most definitely recommend your Ranch and look forward to future visits.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

This is our 3rd year with you and we had another awesome trip. My sons have taken Fallow Bucks, Boar, Corsican Rams and Big Horns with you guys and it’s a different experience each time. Everyone is very friendly and the food and lodging is awesome. I sent the pics from the hunt in another e-mail and my boys can’t wait to see them posted on the website. Can’t wait to hunt with you guys again.

Ken, Bryce, Dom, Brendon and Darwin

This was my second hunt you... And I must say that I enjoyed my experience there very much. Rodney did a great job of guiding me once again. I know he had to be very tired from his drive to WV the day before, but he still did a great job. Please let him know that I appreciate that he was able to get the goat ready for transportation so quickly, so that I could get on the road for my long drive to Wichita. I really don't have any suggestions on how you could improve a hunter's experience there. I think that you have a pretty good system that works well.
To all the staff... take care... safe and happy hunting. Hope to be back some time in the near future.

To Tioga Ranch;

There is nothing that needs any changing. The guides were great, friendly, informative, low key, and worked really hard to position us for a shot. Rodney was our guide and put my son in line for a great shot ( 75 yards with a .54 cal black powder and iron sights ). This guy was awesome to us very, very helpful in all aspects of being at the ranch. We ended up harvesting 2 trophy boar, this hunt was very special to us, it was my sons first kill that we got to share together and something we had talked about for years.
The atmosphere there was really relaxing made us feel at home. Also the meals were really good and plenty of it, there was only the 2 of us, but they put out enough food for a small army. Hope you don't change to much because we are coming back real soon (maybe hunt something different).

                                                                                            Thank You
                                                                                    Had an awesome time
                                                                                          Butch Brunnett

The overall experience was great.  Nate was a very good guide and we really enjoyed his company too. The butchering was fine.  The food was terrific and the lodge was comfortable and relaxed.  Everyone on the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Hope to see you again in the fall.

Ken

Just a little note to say thank you to the tioga crew, especially Mark. You created memories that will last a life time. My 12 yr old son Jason shot his first animal ever and i was there to witness it. The day was miserable cold and very snowy we were to kill a fallow deer but they just would not stop long enough or close enough for Jason to get a shot so Mark said lets shoot a hog instead ,Great idea Jason shot his first animal and still to this day talks about it like it was yesterday. I am ever so proud and happy. Thank you Tioga Boar preserve for helping my son hunt his first big game animal we are forever gratefull.

Your friends Todd and Jason chapman.

hi,dealing with tioga ranch was nothing but a pleasure. Our guide i think it was carl was the best, he made sure we had fun. we saw lots of hogs. it was a hunt with my son i will never forget. look foward to seeing you guys again. thanks again mike

Tioga Ranch,

We had a pretty big group come up, a total 12 people.  I brought up my 12 year grandson to hunt a boar and it couldn’t have been more perfect.  Our guide Jason put him on a boar early in the hunt but the shot wasn’t one we wanted him to take.  He then put him one some other pigs and he got a little nervous and missed.  The third time Jason put him on single and with three guides, two other hunters and me watching, my grandson made his first big game harvest. I’m not sure which of the seven guys were more excited.  Another special hunt involved my nephew who is an accomplished shooter and hunter.  He wanted to harvest a boar with a rifle that was given to him by his great grandfather after his passing.  He made his great grand dad proud and shot a great boar. All the other guys all brought back pigs also. Although we didn’t use you’re lodging or butchering services I could see how that would be a great asset.  We all couldn’t have had a better time.  For our group this helped the winter pass.  There was nothing to hunt in March so this was the perfect opportunity for us all to get together and bond for a weekend. Thanks again for the great hunt and all the memories.

Best Regards,

The Hazenstab Group

(Every one of your guides took the time to make our hunt special, particularly for our youngest hunter.)

We had a good time at Tioga Ranch. The guides were great. The food was great. The weather was great.  The accommodations were what was expected for a hunting lodge. The butchering was what we wanted. We liked it enough we are talking about planning our next trip late October, or early November.

Thanks again

Nicholas E. Mennell, ITIL-F, PMP

I would'nt change a thing. the food is good, the guides are friendly, and most important they put you in position to take your game. I was using a bow so I had to be a lot closer than with a rifle. thats why I cant wait til next year to book another hunt. thanks;

You're wecome to post this. The food was great and prolific. The staff was more than competent and friendly. It was more than I bargained for or expected and I have shot many wild deer and endless small game in Pa. N.Y. and De. In short; I had fun! I am only embarrassed about my accuracy at about 110 yds.. I am usually better than that. I have excuses I won't share. All my fault.

Everything was great,I had such a good time I'll be back next year. My guide Barry was great and the food/hospitality excellent. This will be the start of an annual hunt for me and a place I can bring my friends and have a great time. Thank you again to all! Anthony Savoia

Dale and I talked about the hunt all the way home.  We had a great time.  We got Barry and Nate as our guides and they were fantastic.  We were into animals in no time, and Dale shot a good boar at 8:30 am.  As soon as they got Dale's boar taken care of we were hunting again and I shot my boar at 10 AM.  I was hoping for a red pig and I got one.  I had my mind set that I was going to use my 44 mag hangun and I did.  The hunting experience was great, the guides were second to none.  The food was great, and the lodgings were very good.  We were also lucky to be with some really nice fellow hunters and I would say that is because you run a quality operation.  All of the staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful and believe me when I say that we will be back, and most likely with friends.  Thanks again for a memorable experience.

hi , my son levi and i really enjoyed our time hunting with the great staff at tioga ranch. the day of our hunt there was an incredible blizzard, our guides didn't give up. we had a successful hunt and great experience.thanks

Hello,

My son and I both had a great time.  A good hunt. Comfortable lodge.
Friendly knowledgeable guides and staff. This was our first
opportunity to go hunting together in about a year since he plays
football and that season takes up most of the hunting season. We had
been talking about this for a long time and really enjoyed it. He also
loved the exotic wild game meals and generous quantities. We'll be
coming back next time with our bows.

Arthur

I would like to express my gratitude for a great hunting experience I've just had at Tioga.

You service is great, prices are reasonable, guide is excellent, pleasant and knowlegeable, accomodations are comfortable.  I can't complain about anything.
Looking forward hunting with you again in the future.

Vic

Tioga Staff,

The lodge, meals, guides, skinning and butchering were all amazing. Thank you very much for the wonderful experience. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful and the facility was outstanding. Thank you again for everything, we can't wait to book another hunt.

Sincerely,

I'm not sure I'd change anything!

Seriously, from the time we arrived (about 45 minutes before dinner was served, which turned out to be GREAT timing) until the time we reluctantly departed, my sons and I had an absolutely fantastic time. The hunt was great, no question, but the home-cooked food was superb, and the service overall was top notch. Everyone from the guides to the cooks seemed to have only one goal in mind, to make sure that we had as pleasant a stay as possible, and they succeeded admirably. The room was a little more rustic than I usually stay in (I do a lot of business travel) but it was really comfortable and added to the feeling of being on a hunting ranch. You guys have a really winning formula, no doubt refined over the 30+ years you've been in business, and you really do it well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to any friend looking for a family hunting trip.

Bob Hamilton

What can I say about Tioga except that it is awesome.  This is the second time I have been and plan on many trips in the future with my family.  Mark and the guys go above and beyond to make your hunt as memorable as possible.  Our guide Rodney made my 11 year old feel like part of the family and did everything in his power to make sure she got a good, safe, and comfortable shot at her Fallow Doe.  The smile on my daughter's face was priceless, and to be honest so was Rodney's when he hugged my daughter.  We swithched over to my hunt and again the guides went above and beyond.  I was able to harvest a beautiful Fallow Buck.  It has been two days and my daughter is still dreaming and talking about our time together at Tioga.  I can't forget to mention the accomodations, food, and ladies in the kitchen.  A special thanks to Wanda for checking on my daughter to make sure she had everything she needed and for coming out and checking out my daughter's doe.  You really made my daughter feel like part of the Tioga family.  For anyone on the fence, this is a great family oriented experience that will last a lifetime.  The safe environment is excellent for kids just getting started, especially when you consider the price.  You can't ask for a more affordable hunt.  I wish nothing but success for the people at the Tioga Boar Hunting Preserve in the coming year and look forward to seeing you all in the Fall.

Hey guys,
My Son and I had a great time. We will probably come back in the Spring or early Summer to do another boar hunt. The 2 guides we hunted with were really nice guys and made the trip as enjoyable as possible. We got a pretty good bit of exercise too hiking up and down the hills scouting for hogs which was nice. We will be in touch for sure. The meat from our Hogs is absolutely STELLAR!

Lou

Just wantd to say THANK YOU.  I had a awsome time yesterday shooting a boar
and a texas dall ram.  Our guide
Nate was great.  Looking forward to my
next hunt at Tioga.

Thank you

Dave Mason

thankyou for the hunt we had a good time all the staff was friendly and helpful the food was kick ass  and the animals were good size  butchering was good  it was a memorable day thanks  ken and richie

Just wanted to say thanks again.   As usual you all worked your tails off to do what seems to be the impossible and we got a bear in the camp  again.
And on our off day I really enjoyed spending some time on the preserve getting a very nice and tasty boar.  Hope to see you all again in mid January  and I know I'll be back in November next year  for bear and hopefully for deer season too.     I can't thank you all enough for the great food  and company, as well as all the guides for your hard work and determination to make everyone happy.   Thanks to all John Pede

Once again, I had a great Whitetail hunt! My guide Dustin was just great and the entire staff always make you feel as though you are a part of the family. Sitting around in the Lodge talking about the hunts in detail with the other hunters, and seeing the excitement in their eyes, make it a memorable experience.  Both times that I have been at the Tioga Ranch it has felt like a all the hunters had come as one group, and I credit that to the hospitality and friendliness of your entire staff. Not to mention that I have 2 great wall hangers in 2 years.

Bob

Everyone was really great, the hospitality was fantastic. Rodney and Jason were great guides and a lot of fun, we ended up with a lot of meat that I can say is really good. Overall it was a real fun experience.
Thanks
J. Burton

This was my third hunt at Tioga in 3 years and was completely satisfied as the first 2 times. Mark was my guide all three times and will continue to ask for him on future trips. Great outfit. Great people. Decent value. Will come back again.

My 13 year old son had a great time, and is still on "cloud nine". Nate did a great job as guide. No complaints whatsoever
At the end of the day, we got meat hanging and nobody got hurt. That's a good hunt.  Thanks,  Bill Holloman

Once again, we had a great hunt!  Mark is a terrific guide and we enjoyed having Dustin along with us for the first time.  The staff has always been very professional and courteous.  We hope to see all of you next Fall!

Ken & Darlene Reinke

Had a great time. The staff was great, the game selection was amazing and it went smooth as silk.

Thanks again for a great time

Hi Mark, I thought id drop you a quick email. My cousin Fred and I had the time of our lives! The food was great, the hunt was great, Jason, Mike and all the guys were great! Wed love to come back the same time next year(if we can wait that long!)          Bill and Fred

Thank you all so much for a wonderful hunt. Mark was very helpful. Barry & Mike, my guides were great & Made every effort that I would have a good hunt. The cooks did a terrific job & made wonderful meals. Everyone made us feel at home. My son Steven is talking about maybe an elk or boar hunt next year. Thank you again. Ammon

Mark,
This was my third trip to your ranch.  A boar, a buffalo and now (for my 13 year old son) a really nice white tail buck, and a doe for myself.  You guys were great, we enjoyed the hunt and helped my son make the transition from young boy to young man.  It was his first deer and ,again, a really nice one. I cannot say enough about you and your partner, and how well you treated us, especially my son.  He was nervous and shaky, but you guys calmed him and we had a very successful hunt.  Every time I have come down, I brought one of my kids.  The boar was my daughter, and the buffalo and this deer was my son Jake.  I am a firm believer that boys need to be in the company of real men at transitional points in their lives. You guys filled the bill and we will be back.  Next time an elk I think.

TIOGA GANG:  I was truly impressed with what I received for a very modest price at the Tioga Ranch.  I’ve been on hunts with other lodges that cost 3 times as much and received considerably less.  The accommodations & food were great as was the breathtakingly beautiful scenery of the ranch & the surrounding area in the early fall.  Rodney, my guide was very personable, professional & knowledgeable.  Having visited several fishing & hunting lodges in the past I know that having quality guides like Rodney on your staff does more to promote the ranch than all the internet & media advertising combined.  Some of the other guests I spoke to had returned several times and shared the same high opinion of the Tioga ranch & the staff that I did.  Thanks for an excellent boar and a memorable experience.  You can bet that I will be returning as soon as possible and as many times as possible.

Thank you & best regards till next time,

Douglas Price Milton, Ontario CANADA

Everything was terrific.  My buddy & I took our Management Boars on the first day and we decided to stay for the second day to enjoy the food and company of the other hunters.  Looking forward to going again next year, for Boar or Deer.

 Thank you.

I am writing to thank you for an outstanding boar hunt this past weekend. Dan and Michael had an excellent time and got a chance to safely harvest their first animal. They also got a chance to experience the camaraderie of a hunting camp - great food, company and most of all, stories of past hunts.  Special thanks to Mark for successfully guiding two new hunters, understanding their capabilities and setting them up for clean
one shot kills. You got them both comfortable on the range before heading out, and that confidence carried them through.  I would highly recommend Tioga, especially for those wanting to safely and successfully introduce new hunters to the sport.
Regards,
Brian

Mark,
I wanted to thank you and the gang (especially Matt) again for providing us with an awesome experience this week.  As you saw, I was more than proud of my son when he shot his ram, and the rest of the hunt was great as well.  We will definitely be back, and I know we will have more people with us next time!!!!

I just wanted to thank you guys for a great experience. Mark and Rodney did a great job of setting my sons up to take good shots on a couple of big boars. My sons and I had a great time and will return. Nice people and great hunting.

Rodney, We had a great time – although if I had known we would see as many boar as we did, I would have waited for a trophy class animal.  You missed an up sell opportunity there - LOL.  The guides were great and a special shout out to Judy who put some fine food on the table and really took care of us.  Your daughter is quite the young lady as well – we enjoyed her stopping by.  My son had a great time and I now have an enthusiastic hunting buddy.  I guess the best way to sum it up is:

Guided wild boar hunt                                                                                                                                                $650

Skinning and butchering                                                                                                                                               $100

Accommodations and some of the best pulled pork you will ever eat                                                                             $80

The excitement in your 9 year old son’s face on his first big game hunt                                                                        Priceless

Regards, Roger

Hello, I just wanted to say Thank you for the wonderful weekend, it really
went beyond all expectations.  Our guide, Jason, did an amazing job
and I look forward to hunting with him in the future.  The food was
fantastic, and everyone was extremely friendly.  You really have an
amazing setup and can't believe the amount of game I got to see.  We
will definitely be back.
Once again Thank you, and I know we will be back in the spring.
Take care,
Mike

Mark and the Entire Staff,

I just wanted to take a moment to say that I really enjoyed my September hunt for management boar that I recently had with one of my longtime friends Chris Slowik. We were both very impressed with every aspect of our experience with you.  From the moment we arrived we were made to feel right at home and a part of the family.  I am looking forward to the time when I am able to return and hunt again. Terry and Chase were excellent guides and made the experience something that we will be talking about for a long time.  I appreciate their skill and direction and their patience with the two of us.  This was the first hunt in the States for Chris and my experience has been more with Whitetail deer than with any other animal. Please let Terry and Chase know how much we appreciated their help and that the page is up for them to view.  Chris and I are looking forward to a return trip! Thank you again!

I would like to thank you guys for making our recent hunt successful.  This was my wife's first attempt at hunting.  It was challenging especially with a crossbow but a great experience for both of us.  I also want to thank Rodney for his efforts and patients.  It was not an easy task to get my wife within 20 yards of a boar but he succeeded.  All in all thanks to the ranch and thanks to Rodney.  We will be back...Erick Yoder

To the folks at Tioga boar hunting, Thanks for a great hunt!!! My eleven year old son Jordan who has been unable to participate in his usual winter sports because of a elbow injury had the time of his life. I've attached the picture of him with his HUGE hog. Thanks for everything, Carl our Guide was top notch. John Reilly

just wanted to again to thank you for the memorable hunt I had at your preserve back in November of 09. I am sitting in front of my computer, on the wall next to computer is the mounted head of red deer stag I hunted at your site. Many a time while on my business phone I have listened to occasional intense conversations and just looking at the stag brings back pleasant memories of the hunt. I also want to especially thank your most professional staff in helping me during my hunting experience. The whole hunting experience more that met my expectations and I hope to be able to hunt with your guides in the not to distance future.

To the crew at Tioga...Thank you so very much for another fantastic hunt!  It was a real treat to take my 9 year old son Brock on his first big game hunt.  Its surely a day neither of us will ever forget!  I cant say enough about the food (Im still full) the accomodations are great and the guides are the nicest guys anyone could hope to find.  Why people would hunt anywhere else ill never know!  We cant wait to get back up there again.  Rodney, thank you especially for making this day possible for my son, you were top notch!  Thank you again and see you soon.
Brock and Jim Musumeci

My name is Bill Brunetti Jr. I have been coming to Tioga for over 5 years now and about 7+trips.  I came with my father first and now have expanded to my tow sons as well as many of my friends.  We are always treated like family here.  Their house is our house.  I have personally harvested, four boar, buffalo, two rams, and many many memories.  From the second we get there its like we never left and i always look forward to the spaghetti with buffalo meat sauce.  Whether its breakfast, lunch, or dinner you never leave the table hungry.  I cant wait to get back there and see all of you guys.
There is nothing better a great day of hunting, awesome food, a beer, a cigar, and good friends.
See you all soon
Bill Brunettie Jr.

Mark, We had a great time on our Boar hunt.  I cant describe how much fun we had.  The hunt was everything Id hoped it would be.  My special thanks to Mike for working with us and getting me into position for a great shot on my boar...After the hunt we enjoyed some great meals in the lodge, and enjoyed the swapping stories with the other hunters that evening.
Once again thank you for making this such a wonderful experience
Rick&Jo Marsh

I just hunted Tioga for the first time this October.  I have to say the personal attention was nothing short of outstanding.  Carl treated all the guys as though he knew them for a lifetime.  I met other hunters, great people, who happened to have a cabin less than a mile away from mine in Farmersville, Ny.  My brother came to video the hunt and our guides Carl and Mark were very accommodating.  My brother in law and i were here for our first experience, him with his 44 and me with my PSE and ancient compound bow.  i cant thank Mark enough for the information he provided to us to prepare for the hunt, then his expert advise as I stalked my first boar, and of course his assistance in pushing me up the tree as the boar charged us right to the base of the tree I was in.  The work Carl and Mark did back at the ranch to prepare the harvest for pictures, and then for the cooler was outstanding.  Wed certainly like to thank the cooks who did a wonderful job with the pork for sandwiches and sausage, and the roasted venison was outstanding.  Thanks again for a great first time experience, Ill be back someday

Well, Dick Dunkle and I made it home and did get to drop our boar heads off at the taxidermist as we had hoped.  I just wanted to let you all know what a wonderful time we had at Tioga Ranch.  The accommodations were great, comfortable, and very clean.  The food was outstanding and we loved the Buffalo spaghetti and the Wild Boar Sausage for breakfast.  The ladies who did all the hard work to make this happen are real troopers and we extend to them our thanks for thier efforts.  The hunt was, of course, the real focus for us and it, too, was an outstanding experience!  The guides Carl and Carmen were expert at their jobs and got us both very nice boars in an exciting fashion.  The hunting areas were well laid out and well managed.  I want to tell you that I would recommend Tioga to anyone who asks! Thanks again for a GREAT time.  I hope that all of oyour clients are as happy and satisfied as we are.
Sincerely,

Mark, Just wanted to drop a line and say thank you for a great time.  You guys really do have a great set up.  My father cant stop talking about you guys.  The hunt was everything I hoped it would be.  You will definitely be seeing me in the future.

Good Morning Rod, Mark and the rest of the Tioga team.  Just wanted to let you know George and I made the trek back to Northern New York safely.  Thank you for a very enjoyable stay at the ranch this past weekend,.  The accommodations and camaraderie were excellent.  We do plan to come again for a return visit and this timme I wil adhere to the Guides advice ad take the second shot rather than opt for a wrestiling match with the boar.
Respectfully,
Dennis

As this years captain of the "A" team, I feel it necessary to write to express our gratitude.  From the time we arrived Friday afternoon till we had to leave Sunday morning the entire Tioga staff was nothing short of excellent.  This was our third trip to the ranch and it seems to just get better every time! Starting with the food, smiles, and laughter that comes out of the kitchen staff and continuing on right through the guides, this trip was nothing short of perfect.  We called to schedule my bachelor party for this March of 2009 with no hesitation of what was to come.  We had four hunters this year with towo cameramen along for the hunt.  Chase was a very professional guide setting us up so we could view many different boar before deciding on which we wanted to harvest.  Jamie gets the award for dedication to the hunters, as he introduced us to some of the best boar wrestiling we have every seen.  He made sure that we werent going to lose the injured boar! Of course any hunt at Tioga wouldnt be the same for "A" team with out Rodney being part of it!  so on behalf of Nate, Sean, Nick, Chris, Russ, and Marty we have to thank you for all you do.
Looking forward to our next Tioga experience,
The Rochester Ny "A" Team

We stayed from 2/25-2/27/09 a big thank you to Mike and Rodney my daughters first hunt at Tioga was a success because of you two, the white fallow doe she shot was one of the hardest hunts I have ever been on.  After multiple setups I never thought it was going to happen, neither of you gave up on her.  At ten years old she was so excited to take her first big game animal.  She will never forget all of the hard work that you did for her.  Haleigh cant wait to get her shoulder mount on the wall and plan her next trip back to Tioga you have her hooked for life(you had me last year).  I took a very large tan boar well over 200 lbs for the second year.  Haleigh now knows why dad couldnt stop talking about Tioga since last year.  The people, food and animals are all first class.  Thanks again to everyone at Tioga you kow you will see us again soon.

Hello all at Tioga, I just would like to say thank you fuys for the great experience my son and I had hunting on 2/26/09.
The guides Mike and Rodney were great and we thank you.  Im sure after the long day setting up on the fallow does you both slept well that night.  I will also not forget to thank the cooks for the delicious dinners.
Will see you soon,
Thanks Kim Hall

Just wanted to let EVERYBODY their knoow that as far as my son, Lucas and I are concerned, it could not have been a better weekend!!! Paul was an absolute great guide!!  He was patient, yet knew what I wanted for my son.  We eventually located a great boar and my son was able to make a good shot on it (proud father trying not to brag to much).  My son says it was the best weekend of his life (hes only 11 and hasnt discovered women yet) but that is a pretty big statement.  The food was fantastic, the lodging was more than adequate, and the staff was only interested in our comfort and happiness.  I am confident that my son will not let me stay away from their for long.  Please tell Paul and everybody involved that my son and I now have a love affair with Tioga, and Im sure we will be back soon.  Great People Great Place
Thanks again,
Keith Calvert

Mark, I just want to say that you, and the rest of the staff at Tioga are very capable, professional people, and I enjoyed the stay and Buffalo hunt last week.  The "Buff" I harvested is a beautiful animal of good size, and it was a pleasure to watch how he was handled from the point of kill to the skinning and quartering.  I arrived home with the meat still cold and in perfect condition.  My butcher said "its a pleasure working with meat that is extremely well taken care of".  This Buffalo is going to make a nice trophy mount and tanned hide.  Again, I thoroughly enjoyed the lodging (very clean & comfortable) the food, and my fellow hunters at the lodge.  The Boars still await me.

Tioga Ranch, I took my brother Tim to your ranch on Sept 27th 2008 to hunt a trophy whitetail and a boar for him and I.  The hunt was special because it was my way of saying thank you to my brother for all the things he has done and the help he has given me over the years.  First off a special thank you to Mark for an outstanding job finding a true trophy whitetail buck, we were blown away to see that it had 14 points and it was scored at 184 inches far and above what i thought he would have taken.  The boar hunt was even more fun, my brother Tim took a trophy big tusker and i shot a really big sow i could not be happier.  Please thank the guides who worked so hard for us Rodney and Mark.  A very special thanks to the ladies who cooked and took care of our needs in the Lodge, the food was outstanding and the accommodations were very comfortable.  Also thanks to the rest of the staff you folks made us feel like part of the family.  I will recommend your ranch to all of my hunting friends.  My brother and I are making plans to return in February for another hunt and more after that...
Thank you all so very much

Rod, I just wanted to say thanks for all the help you gave Cody to make his hunt a success.  He is telling his story to anyone who will listen and still has a smile on his face.  You guys are top notch and I will recommend you to all my friends.
Looking forward to coming back,
Jim

To the entire Tioga Team, A special note of thanks for creating the most unforgettable hunting experience ever.  The hospitatlity was unmatched and the culinary experience exceeded every expectation.  In the end Rodney guided me to my goal and celebrated an unforgettable 1 shot 1 kill victory.
Regards,
Ran

Just a few words to say thanks to all who helped Jen and I have a fantaastic time at your place.  The meals and warmth of your staff was the best.  Carl went above and beyond to help me and my daughter enjoy our stay.  The animal we harvested was 2nd to none.  If you ever need any references please use my name and letter.
Thank you again,
Ken Gsell

Tioga, Our group from the Annapolis area of Maryland hunted your property on 5/31/08.  We had a great time!  Your guides and cooks were very accommodating.  There were 7 in our party and everyone killed a boar.  We look forward to returning in the future.

I hunted with my daughter in 2007.  She took a 200+lb boar and a Spanish goat.  I took a 200+ lb boar and two goats.  Our guide was Carl.  The things I liked about hunting at Tioga were:1. Food was great. 2. Lodge was nice and comfortable. 3. Our guide made the hunt enjoyable, with a no hurry attitude. 4. All the staff treated you like one of the family. 5. They have anything you could dream to hunt. 6. Last but not least, our guide Carl was outstanding, he made sure at all times we were hunting safely and responsibly.  I would recommend hunting at Tioga to anyone who wants to have a great experience with great people.

Tioga,
Hello to all that is involved with Tioga.  Thanks again for another great trip.  I have traveled and hunted other areas of the country and I have to say, you guys are great.  I think what separates you guys from some other is just how all of you treat all your hunters as if they were family.  Bottom to top very professional and knowledgeable of the game in which you are hunting to get you the best trophy in which you are seeking.  Special thanks again to Mark for helping me and Greg with our hunts.
Sincerely,
Bob Burns

Greetings to all at Tioga,
I have hunted at Tioga for several years now, and have yet to be disappointed.  In 2005, I hunted for a Black Russian Boar, and was blessed to harvest one well over 200 pounds.  He is now a beautiful conversation piece on my wall.  My guide, did a wonderful job of putting me in the right place to see several boar.  After several attempts, my 30-06 cracked, and my boar was down.  It was a very exciting hunt, and to hunt an animal that can easily become the hunter, adds to the thrill of the hunt.  My guide stressed the fact for me to wait for the right shot, and put it down.  I also enjoy the fact that the guides at Tioga are unarmed.  It is all up to the hunter.
In 2007, I returned to Tioga to hunt the Rocky Mountain Ram, an animal I have always wanted to add to my trophy room.  After arriving, getting settled in a wonderful, comfortable, clean, room at the lodge, I went to the rifle range and made sure my rifle was on the mark.  The next morning we were up early, had a great breakfast, I met my guide and we were off.  However I became side tracked when a 5x6 Red Stag caught my eye.  After watching this animal for sometime, I told my guide that we needed to hunt him.,  Later after several setups and moves, my TC Encore 300 Win Mag hammer came down and so did my Stag.  What a hunt that was, and a beautiful trophy.  On that same hunt, I was able to take a Fallow Doe which turned out to be a real challenge.  These animals are very spooky, hardly ever stop, herd up tight, and the shots are usually at a good distance away.  My shot was well over the 200 yard mark.
I was also very impressed with the field safety at Tioga.  All the guides are aware of their area, work together well, and know where the other hunters are.  The food is out of this world, with several types of wild game served daily, with all the side dishes, and deserts, with the coffee pot always on.  The weight one looses in the filed, is gained back at the table.  However, I have yet to hunt the Rocky Mountain Ram, so that means a return to Tioga in 2008.  I wonder if I will become side tracked again?
In closing, I again , cannot say enough for my guide, a great guy, and knows what he is doing.  If the hunter is a good listener, he will take home his trophy.
Sincerely,
Norm Cox

To the Tioga Boar Preserve,
I surprised my husband for his 50th birthday with a trip to your preserve on 5/3/08.  We had a blast!!  Everything was great from the food and the gals who cooked it to the guides Rodney and Rex.  We could not have been treated better!!  As a woman, I run into a lot of "men" who make snide remarks and treat me in a condescending manner--not here!!  The guides and the other guests were friendly, polite, and fair. Thank you for making this a wonderful memory that we hope to repeat in the near future with our children..
Sincerely yours,

Hello to all at Tioga,
My step father, Conrad and myself, Bob, hunted at Tioga on April 19, 2008.  Let me start by saying tat are guided did an outstanding job, from their hospitality to their knowledge of the game we were after to the processing of it.  We let them know what we were after and they helped us get it.  Conrad took a 220 lbs Sow and I got a 250 lbs Sow.  The overall experience was great.  Everyone was very friendly.  This was our first time on a guided hunt and first at Tioga.  We would gladly recommend hunting at Tioga to any hunter.  We will definitely be going again.  Thank you again Tioga.
Sincerely,
Bob

Tioga,
At 57, each year brings a winter that's a little colder then the last and familiar hills that were easy to climb are a little steeper then they were the year before.  Even though I am powerless to hold back the hands of time my good friends at Tioga make my hunts there as enjoyable as the first time I walked through there door.  Since I started hunting exotics I've always wanted  a trophy Mouflon that would stand out among the other game animals that I've been fortunate to take in my lifetime.  Let me say now that I've succeeded in taking that trophy Mouflon and Tioga Hunting Preserve made it all possible.  Good friends, good food, and good guns equal a great hunt which can all be found at Tioga.

I must first say thanks to our guides, Mike and Carl, these gentleman were extremely knowledgeable, made us feel very comfortable and added much pleasure to the overall experience.  To all hunters, this was a great experience for myself and the other hunters in my party.  I have been hunting for several years now and I would have to say this was one of the best experiences I have ever had.  They cater to all levels of experience to insure successful hunting.  Spotting the various game while staling was heart pounding and the hunt will provide more than enough challenge for any level of hunter.  The Boar and Rocky Mountain Ram I bagged were great!! I should add that the lodging, food, and staff were terrific.
Thanks again Tioga, we will definitely return, hopefully with my son, to enjoy your hospitality.
Sincerely,

To my fellow hunters at Tioga Ranch,
Allow me to say that the experience at Tioga you will encounter is unparallel to any other.  I am proud to say that I have accumulated over the years over eighteen trophies (all wall hangers).  And it must be noted that during the 2007 Bear season at Tioga I harvested a 257 lb trophy.  This would have never been possible without the professionals at Tioga.  If a fellow sportsman is looking for a great experience that they will never forget, you need look no further than Tioga, believe me when I tell you that not only the experience, but also the personable attention you are given will bring you back time and time again.
Sincerely,

Tioga is GREAT.  In all aspects.  My father and I shared the experience.  I hunted that Saturday and he played camera man.  Derek was my guide, we had a quick successful hunt and recommend him to any hunter.  He made me feel comfortable that he knew the woods as well as the animals that we were hunting.  All the guides were so polite and knowledgeable, they made everyone so comfortable.  The whole experience of hunting with you guys was great.  It has that true hunting feeling from the beautiful scenery to the hunting lodge itself.  I cant wait for the future hunts that I will have with you guys.

Sincerely,
Anthony Messina

Tioga, I've lost count of exactly how many hunts I've been on at Tioga and they were all excellent, however, I have to comment on the last two which were a trophy Whitetail and a Bison hunt with a turkey thrown in for good measure.  The guides all said that I should be ready for a good Whitetail, but when that deer came up the game trail and the sunlight hit his antlers I shook like the first time when I had a deer in my sights.  He was the biggest I've seen in over 20 years of hunting...As a matter of fact I pulled my first shot and only because of the expert help from Tioga's experienced guides was I able to put my trophy of a lifetime down for keeps.  The Bison...let me say now that I've hunted Cape Buffalo in Africa and the bull I took at Tioga was almost equal in size and just about as hard to put down.  I used my Freedom Arms 454 with a 300 grain bullet and placement of the round is critical with an animal of this size when using a handgun.  Again, the guides set me up in the best position for a kill shot and as you can see in the photo...I got my Buff!!!!  This story's not over because later in the day I took a trophy with my handgun that I've been trying to get for the last 7 years without success.  That trophy is none other then North Americas own wild Turkey.  As we still hunted Tioga's vast woodlands I caught some movement behind a pile of blow down trees.  What's this???Why yes...its the head and neck of a turkey which I have to say now was trying to hide from us.  I sat down with my back against a tree and brought my 454 to rest on my knees.  The head and neck of a turkey that's 40 yards away makes for a small target so I cranked my variable power Leopold up to 8x.  This had to be one of the hardest game shots I've ever taken with my handgun as I held my breath and tried to squeeze the trigger with the greatest of concentration.  BOOM!!!  As the gun barrel rose in recoil the head of the bird disappeared and all became still...  $0 yards away nothing moved as we made our way to that pile of logs where the turkey last stood.  There among the wood and loose feathers lay my bird with a bullet hole "smack dab" in the center of his neck.  That, like some many others, was how my day ended at Tioga Hunting Preserve with what I would say was a "damn good hunt".
Sincerely,
James Swydrik

Hello to any hunter that's reading messages posted.  I've hunted at Tioga Boar Hunting Preserve a couple of times.  I have found the people to be the best kind of people to know, the food is great, the accommodations are just as good.  An ample supply of animals to hunt in large hunting areas.  I would recommend this hunting preserve to everyone and I plan on hunting there in the future.  Thanks guys for some good hunts
Truly,
Vincent J. Cacia

Just a quick note to let you know how much my son and I enjoyed our Buffalo hunt on February 22nd.  We could have not asked for a more considerate and patient guide than Mark.  I was especially impressed with the way he treated my 10 year old son like an adult and the way he took my leg problems into account.  You guys were great!  The meat was cut up perfectly and we have enjoyed some already-delicious and tender.  Once again-a hunt of a lifetime and worth every penny
Thank you!
Wes and Jake Belcher

I have brought both of my sons to Tioga to hunt Boar with bow when they turned 10.  Not only were both boys successful in harvesting trophy's the experience they each enjoyed will be remembered for a lifetime.  The people at Tioga were wonderful.  They were truly focused on providing my sons with a quality experience.  They will be strongly recommended by our family.
