At Tioga we hunt boar all year round, 7 days a week. We offer 4 different types of boar hunts; we have a management hunt that is $550, the boar on this hunt will range between 70-100 lbs, this hunt is perfect for someone who is looking for some great meat but is not interested in a trophy. The second hunt we offer is $650 and is for a boar between 100-160 lbs, this hunt is for people looking for some good meat but also want a nice mount. Our Third hunt and most popular hunt is our trophy hunt, this hunt is $750 and is for a boar 160-290 lbs or a trophy male with large tusks, this hunt also yields great meat but more emphasis on the trophy quality. Our fourth hunt is for an extremely large trophy boar, these hunts start at $900 and will be priced individually depending on size. Most boar hunts are 1-2 days in length and are all fully guided hunts, we do have lodging on the premises for $85/night/person, and that includes all of your meals while you stay with us. Our boar vary in color from from black to dark red, gray and sometimes a spotted variation. Hunting boar in the varying terrain of Tioga County will challenge any hunter's skills. For these hunts it is your choice of weapon, any rifle, muzzleloader, shotgun, or pistol that you feel comfortable with hunting for whitetail will work, you can also use a bow and hunting a boar with your bow may be the most exciting hunt you will ever do with your bow. Your guide will also cape and butcher your meat for you for $100, this includes the guide caping your boar for a shoulder mount and processing the meat into steaks, chops, roasts, spare ribs etc. all you need to do is bring a cooler 64 quarts or larger and then freezer wrap the meat when you get home.
