Once you’re in the right area, look for common signs that a boar has recently been there. This may include everything from dug up roots to tracks on the ground. Boars have a very specific footprint that won’t look like a deer or really any other type of animal that may be in the region.

Try to follow the tracks without making too much noise along the way, and pay special attention to signs like fresh droppings. This will give you an indication that a boar has been in the area very recently. Finding cover is essential so you don’t give away your position, and of course moving quietly is always recommended.
